These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Forum OS ("we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Forum OS platform, website, and related services (collectively the "Services").
By accessing or using Forum OS you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization such as an EO chapter you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms you must not access or use Forum OS.
Description of Services
Forum OS is a chapter management software platform that provides tools for:
Membership pipeline management Forum placement and tracking Member engagement monitoring Board tracker and accountability tools Membership-Engagement OS features Trifecta OS oversight features Chapter administration and reporting.
The specific features available to your chapter depend on the pricing tier you have subscribed to as outlined in our pricing page at www.forumos.com/pricing.
Account Registration and Access
Account Creation To use Forum OS your chapter must have an active account created either by the Forum OS team or through an approved registration process. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during account setup.
Account Credentials You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@forumos.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Account Responsibility You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your chapter account including actions taken by your administrators, moderators, and any other users you grant access to.
One Account Per Chapter Each chapter is permitted one primary administrator account. Additional administrator access may be available depending on your pricing tier.
Subscriptions Plans and pricing
Available Plans Forum OS offers the following subscription plans:
Plan Features Each plan includes specific features as detailed on our pricing page. Features are subject to change with reasonable notice provided to active subscribers.
Forum Limits Each plan includes a maximum number of forum groups. If your chapter exceeds the forum limit of your current plan you will be required to upgrade to a higher tier.
Free Trial Forum OS may offer a free trial period for eligible chapters. Trial terms including duration and feature access will be communicated at the time the trial is initiated. At the end of the trial period you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using Forum OS.
Price Changes We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days notice to active subscribers before any price changes take effect.
Payment and Billing
Payment Processing All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to Forum OS you authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe for the applicable subscription fees.
Annual Billing Forum OS subscriptions are billed annually. Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
Failed Payments If a payment fails we will notify you and attempt to retry the payment. If payment is not successfully processed within 14 days of the original due date we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your chapter account.
Refund Policy All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel your subscription mid-term you will retain access to Forum OS until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a subscription.
Upgrades and Downgrades You may upgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and a pro-rata charge for the difference will be applied. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Forum OS only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Use Forum OS in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
Input, store, or transmit any data that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Forum OS or its related systems.
Use Forum OS to transmit spam, unsolicited communications, or any form of malware.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of Forum OS.
Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to Forum OS to any third party without our prior written consent.
Use Forum OS to store or process sensitive personal data beyond what is reasonably necessary for chapter management purposes.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Forum OS or its infrastructure.
Data Ownership and Privacy
Your Data You retain full ownership of all data you input into Forum OS including chapter information, member profiles, forum data, and engagement records. We do not claim ownership over your data.
Our Use of Your Data We use your data solely to provide and improve our Services as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data on Cancellation Upon cancellation of your subscription your data will be retained for 30 days during which you may request an export. After 30 days your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
Privacy Policy Your use of Forum OS is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at www.forumos.com/privacy.
Intellectual Property
Forum OS Intellectual Property Forum OS and all of its content, features, functionality, design, code, branding, and technology are owned by Forum OS and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Forum OS without our express written permission.
Feedback If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Forum OS you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
Your Content You grant Forum OS a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display the data you input into the platform solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during the course of using Forum OS. This includes but is not limited to chapter member data, business information shared by members, forum discussions, and any proprietary operational processes.
Forum OS will not disclose your chapter's confidential information to any third party except as required by law or as necessary to provide the Services.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes we will notify active chapter administrators via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of Forum OS after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Entire Agreement
These Terms together with our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Forum OS regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications between the parties.
